Animal shelters in New Brunswick are facing a critical situation as they approach maximum capacity, with reports indicating that the number of abandoned animals left in homes has surged twofold compared to the previous year.

“Shelters all across the Country are sounding the alarm bells. In June we really saw this shift in the type of animals that are coming in and the real increase in resources required to care for them “.
