Ontario woman is calling for action after police car hit a family of geese near her home

A LaSalle, Ontario woman named Michelle Baillargeon is advocating for action after a Windsor police cruiser struck and killed a family of geese in front of her home. Baillargeon’s property, located on the boundary between LaSalle and Amherstburg, serves as a nesting ground for Canada geese each spring.

She has been monitoring the geese and helping them cross the road safely to prevent accidents. However, last week, a police cruiser hit an adult goose and four goslings while they were crossing. Baillargeon captured the incident on her home security cameras and is now calling for more signs to alert people about the geese in the area.
