Province kicks in $1 million for first-of-its-kind SPCA facility in Duncan

The SPCA in Duncan is set to receive a substantial $1 million grant, aimed at replacing their outdated 27-year-old facility and renovating a 697-square meter animal behavior center on the current premises located on Vancouver Island.

This innovative animal behavior center is poised to become the inaugural establishment of its kind in Canada.

Moreover, the province has allocated a total of $12 million to support the construction of replacement shelters for the BC SPCA in four distinct communities.
