Authored by Dr. Coulter, a member of Humane Canada's CVLC and the CVLC Strategic Planning & Projects Committee, and co-written with Dr. Erin Jones, this report highlights the diverse work of animal welfare nonprofits, revealing that not only do they help vulnerable animals, these organizations support people and communities, too.

Building from the results of a survey completed by the leaders of humane societies and SPCAs across Canada, we extend our heartfelt thanks to our members who participated in the survey, providing invaluable insights that made this report possible.
