Dog Boarding Business Under Investigation Following Second Dog Fatality

A Hamilton, Ont., dog boarding business is under investigation after a pet owner reported her healthy pocket bully puppy died in its care.
Jenuen Monroe says the incident has deeply shaken her as she awaits a medical examiner’s report on what caused her two-year-old dog's death last weekend at the west side sitter. The case has drawn the attention of regional animal activists, and police have confirmed visits to the dog daycare, Kippen Cares. Monroe and her husband, Matt Savory, had chosen the Westdale facility for their dogs, Cartelo and Spicy, while they went to Toronto for Father’s Day.
