The OPP is introducing a Wellness Service Dog Program to support the mental health of its members.

Ranger, an 18-month-old Labrador/Golden Retriever cross, is already a part of the program and based out of Essex. His signature moves include waves and fist bumps, along with a comforting and calming presence.

Ranger spent a year with a foster family after being born and raised through the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides program. After a year with his foster family, he was trained as a facility dog.
