Hazel, a stray dog taken in by the Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo and Stratford Perth, has finally found her forever home after 277 days at the shelter. Initially brought in underweight in September, she underwent a feeding plan and spent time in a foster home from January onwards.
Victoria Baby, CEO of the Humane Society, expressed delight at Hazel's recent adoption, highlighting the team's joy in seeing her find a permanent family. The shelter remains grateful for community support, essential for their operations. Currently, they have several dogs available for adoption, ranging from two months to six years old.
