The Hamilton-Burlington SPCA (HBSPCA) is planning to build a “first of its kind in Canada” animal welfare campus.

With pet surrenders related to the cost of living expected to increase by 50 per cent in the next five years, the charity is planning to build a “one-stop shop” for pet care in the region, says Brad Grabell, the HBSPCA's director of strategy.
