Is there anything better for an animal lover than attending a conference with almost 500 others like me? That was the case this week at Le Centre Sheraton in Montreal where I was among those on hand for Humane Canada's Summit for Animals.

This marked the third time I attended this conference and as always it was an eye opener.

As Canada’s voice for animal welfare, Humane Canada drives positive change to end cruelty, strengthen protection, and promote the humane treatment of all animals. The organization believes animals have intrinsic value and deserve respect, recognizing their well-being as deeply connected to human health and environmental integrity.
