Support for animal welfare organizations affected by disasters
Sponsored by Pedigree Foundation
The Canadian Disaster Relief Grant provides up to $10,000 CAD to eligible charity-status animal welfare organizations impacted by or assisting communities affected by a disaster declared by relevant Canadian authorities.
Eligible costs include veterinary care, medical supplies, food, shelter/boarding, transportation, cleanup/rebuild, and other urgent needs for rescued or displaced companion animals.
Applications can be submitted within 3 months of the crisis and can include ongoing support provided it is a direct continuation of the relief effort.
Thank you for the vital work you do to protect and care for animals. We are proud to support your emergency response efforts whenever we can.
