About the Grant
The Canadian Disaster Relief Grant provides up to $10,000 CAD to eligible charity-status animal welfare organizations impacted by or assisting communities affected by a disaster declared by relevant Canadian authorities.
Eligible costs include veterinary care, medical supplies, food, shelter/boarding, transportation, cleanup/rebuild, and other urgent needs for rescued or displaced companion animals.
Applications can be submitted within 3 months of the crisis and can include ongoing support provided it is a direct continuation of the relief effort.

To request funding through the Canadian Disaster Relief Grant, please click start your application.
We accept and review submissions on a rolling basis when the granting cycle is open. Due to resource limitations, not all applicants will receive funding, and the amount awarded may differ from the requested amount.
