You don’t have to move mountains to help enact positive, progressive change for animals. You can start creating change today simply by reaching out to your MP, MPP or MLA to let them know that you care about animal welfare.
Here are a couple of pointers to help guide your initial conversation:
- Ask them if animals and animal welfare are part of their policy platform
- If you care about a particular issue in your community (for instance, access to low cost spay/neuter services), let them know
- Ask what you can do to help bring these issues before The House of Commons
