As the convener and representative of the largest animal welfare community in Canada, we advance the welfare of animals, with a strong national voice promoting the interests and concerns of animal welfare to government, policy makers, industry and the public.
It is vital we address the root causes of animal cruelty at the national level. It’s heartbreaking to think about the abuse that animals endure from coast to coast to coast in our country. From puppy mills to fur farming, cosmetic testing to intensive confinement, there are an unspeakable number of animals who suffer at the hands of humans every day across Canada. Each of us has a responsibility to do better by these wonderful creatures who are unable to advocate for their own rights. Even after you are gone, your compassion and devotion can continue to make a difference.
You can help change the lives of animals by supporting Humane Canada’s work to improve animal protection laws and policies, develop key research on animal welfare and work with professionals across Canada striving to end animal cruelty, improve animal protection and promote the humane treatment of all animals.
Choosing to leave a gift to Humane Canada™ in your will is an extension of your own values. What better way to ensure the organization’s critical work will continue far beyond yours and my lifespan? It’s a special opportunity to reach out a helping hand to the future.
We pledge at Humane Canada™ to use your gift wisely to continue the vital advocacy at the national level.
We are at the table when it matters most, speaking to key decision makers in government and industry who can and will make a real difference for animals in our country. A gift in your will can help further that agenda for years to come.
